This clip shows a number of young Indigenous people discussing some of the personal support they received in their role as a family member's carer. They discuss the value of talking to someone, even though that can be difficult, and reflect upon the range of people who supported them. This clip is part of a series in which young people talk about living in families where a family member has a chronic illness.

These Speaking from Experience clips feature nine young Indigenous people who share their experiences of living with a family member with a chronic illness. It was produced in partnership with the Chronic Illness Alliance and Aboriginal Medical Service of Western Sydney .
