Hypertension or high blood pressure is a condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries is chronically elevated. It is important to monitor your blood pressure regularly, as hypertension is a silent killer and usually does not have any signs or symptoms in its early stages.
This Speaking from Experience program offers first-hand accounts from people living with hypertension or high blood pressure. They discuss the ways in which they were able to manage their hypertension, in terms of lifestyle and dietary changes, which can help treat and often delay or prevent high blood pressure. This program was produced in partnership with the Singapore Heart Foundation.
