Families & Chronic Illness
Introductions
This clip shows young Indigenous people speaking about their experiences of caring for family members living with a chronic illness. They talk about the family member they care for and about the nature of the illness. They describe some of the effects of the illness on that person and the effect on their own lives. This clip is an important introduction to a series in which young Indigenous people speak about living with a family member who has a chronic illness.
These Speaking from Experience clips feature nine young Indigenous people who share their experiences of living with a family member with a chronic illness. It was produced in partnership with the Chronic Illness Alliance and Aboriginal Medical Service of Western Sydney.
