Lack of physical activity has clearly been shown to be a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, colon and breast cancer, and depression. Thousands of deaths each year are due to a lack of regular physical activity. Regular, moderate intensity, physical activity such as walking, cycling, or participating in group sports has significant health benefits.

These 'Speaking from Experience' video clips offer first-hand accounts from people who have struggled to maintain a healthy level of physical activity. They discuss the benefits of exercising, as well as how they have managed to overcome the challenges of maintaining an active lifestyle. This program was produced in partnership with the Singapore Heart Foundation.
