Symptoms & diagnosis
This clip shows six young people discussing their experiences of asthma symptoms and diagnosis. Each person describes the symptoms they experience during an asthma attack. They also discuss who diagnosed their asthma, their age at the time of diagnosis and other family members' experiences of asthma. This clip is one of a series in which Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people speak about living with asthma.
These Speaking from Experience clips offer first-hand accounts from 6 young people who are living with asthma. They discuss the impact that it has had on their lives and the ways they manage this chronic condition. It was produced in partnership with The Asthma Foundation and Aboriginal Medical Service of Western Sydney.
