Medication
This clip shows young people describing the day-to-day side effects of their epilepsy medication, and the challenge of finding effective medication. The interviewees also highlight the importance of support from family, friends and professionals, and mention the role of specialist doctors and participation in drug trials. This clip is one of a series in which seven young people discuss their experiences of living with epilepsy. The series provides students with insights into the range of causes, symptoms and treatments of the condition, helping them to develop a deeper understanding of it.
