Physical impact

Video is Loading...

The physical impact of a stroke is different for everyone. Thinking, movement, speech and/or senses may all be affected but with time and hard work, recovery is possible.

This 'Speaking From Experience' video clip offers first-hand experiences from people who have experienced stroke prior to age 50. Here, 6 participants and 1 caregiver discuss the physical effects of their strokes, the capabilities they once took for granted and the ways in which they have learned to work around their physical limitations.
