Helping out

This clip shows young Indigenous people discussing many of the practical things they have done to care for a family member with a chronic illness. They discuss both their direct role with the family member and their broader role in supporting the whole family. This clip is part of a series in which young people talk about living in families where a family member has a chronic illness.

These Speaking from Experience clips feature nine young Indigenous people who share their experiences of living with a family member with a chronic illness. It was produced in partnership with the Chronic Illness Alliance and Aboriginal Medical Service of Western Sydney.
